Join us in July for a performance of Haydn’s ever popular oratorio Creation with the Manchester Camerata under the baton of James Burton.  For more details click  here

This is the home of the Chester Festival Chorus.  Every year from May onwards we work hard to prepare for our annual appearance in the Chester Music Festival in the glorious setting of Chester Cathedral.  Over the years we’ve had a chance to sing with many world renowned orchestras, conductors and soloists. Look through the site for information about the choir, our past and future concerts, as well as information on how you can join us!

2015 sees the chorus performing Haydn’s uplifting oratorio The Creation, telling the story of the creation of the world from its initial chaos through to the Garden of Eden.  We welcome back for a fourth time as conductor James Burton, following past performances of Elgar’s Music Makers, Handel’s Israel in Egypt and, last year, Elgar’s Spirit of England and Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem. We will be singing with the wonderful Manchester Camerata who should provide a perfect accompaniment to this glorious work.
